I found this pretty hilarious...

First read this this - http://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_upshot/20100908/od_yblog_upshot/canada-unveils-new-speed-bump-optical-illusions-of-children (You'll have to copy it and drag it into internet explorer or firefox...whatever you use....)

Second read this -

Hahaha! Wow, <s>stupid</s> silly Canadians. I thought that article was so funny. The thing I'm worried about the most though is what's gonna happen when the drivers get used to these pavement patties and just ignore them. Someday a driver will be driving and run down an actual child. That's going to be so sad. I don't want to bash these new speed bumps or speed breakers as they call them here, but I'm pretty sure it's a stupid idea and it's going to fail. I also don't want to bash the article too much, because I have some Canadian friends...hahahah, but still. Wow.

Speaking of speed bumps there are a couple in my neighborhood. There's this certain speed bump that no one ever notices. It's like it's invisible or something. No, really...It's crazy! So, whenever I'm chilling out somewhere and I grab an auto to go back to my house I always watch out for it. The first two the auto driver can see, but then the third one I just fly into the air. When we approach it I start to have like a miniature heart attack or something.
"Oh no! Is it the next one..or?" And I'm freaking out and I don't see it (well it's invisible anyway) and I hit my head on some metal bar in the auto. Hahaha. It's just like..."GAHHH EVERY TIMEEEE!! WHYYYYY???" Hahaha. I guess it's just one of those 'I hate my life' moments... :P

Cheers,
Lonestar

Greatest Movie Ever Made. Yeah, something on those lines...well I just wanted to tell you about my favorite movie.

The greatest movie ever made - Big Fish. Ever seen it? You need to watch it if you haven't. I sure have been suggesting things these days...first The Weepies now this. Ha.

Anyways, it's a movie about stories...so if you like telling stories you'll like it a lot. Or if you have a Dad that tells a lot of stories. :) The movie was directed by Tim Burton, so 'woohoo' for that! Yeah, if you like stories, Ewan McGregor, and Tim Burton you will for sure like this movie. It'll probably have you in tears by the end of it. Wonderful movie. It's amazing. Go watch it right now...and if you own it, well, watch it again!

Cheerio,
Claytone

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://lonestarindia.blogspot.com/2010/09/greatest-movie-ever-made-ever.html' title='Greatest Movie Ever Made. And wow, I have been loving it. I listen to music all the time, when I do school, when I'm in autos...wow it's amazing. I've recently gotten two Weepies albums. They came out with this one with a cow on it. Hahaha. It's so cool. Great music. If you've heard of The Weepies then you probably should get the cow album, or more commonly know as - "Be My Thrill." It's chill and not as depressing as their other albums...they have happier songs. Haha.

If you don't listen or have never heard of The Weepies then I'm sorry your missing out. You need to go and buy all of their albums. I've worn them everywhere. Unfortunately when you wear flip-flops everywhere they will eventually begin to die. That is what my flip-flops did. Yes, it's sad. It'll all happen to us one day though. So get ready, prepare, and try not to cry. My parents think my flip-flops look ugly, so they are making me get rid of them. Basically my Mum said I could not bring them back to India. I mean that's understandable, they are pretty beat up. It's sad. I'll have to get over it though. While I was here I bought some more flip-flops that I'm going to wear when I get back. I'll have to trod around in them until I get used to them. It may take a while, but what other choice do I have? I'm going to have to give up my old flip-flops. Maybe I don't want to, but I have no choice. I think life is sometimes like flip-flops. Just like I'm giving up these flip-flops and getting new ones, I have to end a chapter of my life here in America and start a new one when I get back home. When I get back to India Connor will not be with me. Yes, it'll be sad and hard to get used to, but I think I will have a good time anyway. I'm sad about leaving my flip-flops here, but I also like my new ones and I can't wait to wear them. Just in this way I'm really excited about life in India, without my brother and a lot of my other senior friends. Delhi is changing a lot, new people are coming, and everything is different. I'm excited to start this new chapter in my life. I believe it's going to be a good one. I think I will do well not only in school, but also in life. And heck, if I ever get super depressed there's always Cinnabon to keep me company/plump. I honestly don't think that will happen though. Haha.

More pictures of the flips...

Yep, there is actually a hole in my shoe. We pretty much bought it straight out in the beginning. Like our second day in the States or something. Connor got a Toyota Camry, 2001. It's a nice tan color with a spoiler and a sun roof. So pretty sweet car. Also it has nice speakers. Connor and I have had our share of driving the car around America. We've driven it all over. Connor still hasn't given it a name, but maybe he'll name it soon. Along with the awesome car Connor got, he got an iPhone 4. That thing is so cool. It can do like everything. So, he bought a gps for his iPhone.

We tried it out the first day we got it. You have a choice to either choose a man's voice or a woman's voice. Of course we chose a woman's. Hahaha. We eventually settled on the name "Lily". It has a nice jolly ring to it I guess. Whatever, it's a nice fit and everything. Sometimes when we go places though we can't decide wether we want to use Lily, the map, or our own brains. Sometimes we use all three and get confused. Lily will say go one way, but the map will say another...

One day we were driving and Dad thought he knew the way, but Lily was directing him a different route. Connor was driving and so he was confused on who to follow. Dad was telling him to go one way and Lily was saying another. Connor followed Dad's directions and we ended up lost and going the completely wrong way. Then we used Lily and decided that maybe we should've gone the other way... Connor forced Dad to apologize to Lily. He did, but from that day forth there has always been some unresolved feelings there. They were never friends, but now they grew much further apart. Sadness.

Lily has been an awesome addition to Connor's car nonetheless. I think of one the coolest thing Lily can do is tell you where the closest Starbucks is. Another awesome addition to Connor's car has been all of the random toys we buy to put inside. Hahaha. When we were garage saling in Oklahoma we bought him two awesome sheep to put in his car. Connor doesn't like it when my Dad and I buy random stuff for his car, but I think it's hilarious. The one thing that my Dad and I were always looking for when were garage saling is something to hang on Connor's rearview mirror. I've always seen people hang things from their rearview mirror. It can really be anything. Something that they care about, something random, really anything. Check out what my Dad found for Connor's car...

One day when no one wasn't looking Connor got rid of her... Oh well, I guess it was going to happen sooner or later.

just an update...

Hey! Yeah, sorry guys, obviously I haven’t been writing much. And it’s not because I’ve been busy. I’ve been anything but busy. That’s sad because that means I really haven’t found anything fun to do in America. I’ve had in America and all, but I’ve had a lot of free time. I guess I should have used some of that to blog, but NO! I HAVNE”T! GOSH! I feel like every time I post something I start saying sorry to the audience, because I like haven’t written at all. I’ve spent a lot of my free time reading. That’s been enjoyable. Anyways, with all the free time I’ve been pretty bored, like when I’m not reading.

I began to miss India a lot. I know the US is a good break and all, but sometimes I don’t want a break. Right now what I really is to fall back into my normal routine in India. Wednesday night Kareoke, Saturdays are Frisbee days and some times even DDR days…and then Tuesday night of course, and then going to the mall all the time, cause I’m a mall rat. Woohoo’s, TGI Fridays, The Theatre, Coffee Bean, Youth Alive. Yeah, I miss all of that. I also miss my friends, of course, although a lot of them are also in the States. I’m not complaining. Just sayin’ I miss it a lot.

A lot of things have been going on I guess…ha. I had my birthday, if you didn’t know already. There are some pictures on facebook. I decorated my cake. I did pretty good. I watched Inception on my birthday! That was fun. Great movie.! If you guys didn’t know, my brother’s birthday is right after mine, so the next we celebrated his. It was also a lot of fun. I got him this awesome shirt (v-necked) and I also got him 3 Frisbees for college. One was red, one was white, and one was blue. It’s pretty interesting that Connor and I’s birthday are only a day apart. People are always like, ‘That’s SOOO COOOL!’ and I’m always like, ‘Okay then.’ Hahaha. It actually is cool though. Well was. In Bolivia, back in the old days we would always have a super awesome sleepover. We would have my birthday and then all of our friends would sleep over and we would celebrate Connor’s. We celebrated in Oklahoma and then went back down to Texas where we stayed a week and then headed out on our epic road trip. The day before the epic road trip we got to see the Dallas Cowboys Stadium. It was so BIIGGG! It rocked. There are also pictures on facebook.

During our week in Texas Connor and I got an awesome opportunity to play soccer with South Asians. That was wonderful, because of course I was missing India a lot. That was great. Every night we would go out there and play. It was a lot of fun. Almost felt like I was in India, except the sky was too pretty and I was still in America. Hahaha. That was nice. They never figured out we lived in India. I guess that’s because we never told them. Haha. Right now I’m in North Carolina. Tomorrow we’re going to South Carolina to see family! I’m excited. It’ll be fun.

Yeah, that’s it guys. Nothing much, just a basic update. Sorry, maybe next time I’ll go into something more detailed and much more excited. Sorry about boring you. ;)

Cheers, Clayton High

mac pictures...

I am now in Oklahoma! If you care. ha.

Yep, drove up here about 4 days ago. I drove halfway and Connor drove halfway. I tried to get cruise control to work in Connor's car, but couldn't figure it out. ahhh. oh well. anyways, something awesome arrived in the mail today that I should share with you. My Dad and I got our new camera and stand! YES! it's so cool. It's a Canon EOS T2i. It's awesome, it even has video! Oh, and the video is super nice. It's like HD. So, i read the most of the manual today to try and figure out how to operate it. So, I was experimenting with the camera and I thought, What is something good to photograph?. That's when I saw my beautiful new mac sitting right there and I was like, "yep, that's it." So, I took some pictures of my mac and I figure you guys may want to see what it looks like anyways, so yeah...check out some of the pictures below. :)

a beautiful mac...

Soooo...i've been having a great time in America. We took a flight from London to Dallas. It was a really long flight. Ten stinkin' hours. So, that was quite a pain. The ipod I had on the trip was really lame, so it ran out of battery in like 3 hours. I was like, "Ahhhhhh!!! What do I do now??!?!?!?" So, I laid around and watched the tv screen. It was sad though, because we didn't get our own personal tv sets. Like the ones that are attached to the chair in front of you. That was disappointing, but they showed some alright things. There was Invictus playing, but I did not feel like watching it. They also played this other movie that I watched and it was super LAME. It was soooo stupid. Hahaha. They had the office though, so I was happy with that. :D It was a nice flight though. We had seat number 10, so plenty of leg room. We got in to the airport and my Aunt picked us up. We went to their house and saw our cousins and stuff...I was very tired though. To keep us awake we went and ate snocones at like 10:00. That was fun. It's been like 2 years since I've had one of those. Nice break.

The very next day we went and bought Connor's car. It's pretty cool. It's like a tan car with a spoiler and a sun roof. I like it. I haven't gotten a chance to drive it yet, because just recently we have figured out that our permits have not expired yet. So, I'll probably drive some tomorrow or the next day. I'm going to get my license soon though. My Mum is making me read all of these funny books about driving and stuff. I think I have to read it to get my license.

Later we moved to our house in Arlington. That's where I am now. It's a guest house where we ALWAYS stay when we come to America. We live so close to cool attractions. Five minutes from Six Flags, five minutes from the baseball stadium, and five minutes away from the football stadium that has just been recently built here! We live five minutes away (walking) from the public library, so that's handy. We also live just minutes away from the Church and Youth places. Pretty great place to be. In the house there's this super cool TV, but we don't have any cable. Hahahaha. Sad. It really is sad since the world cup has been going on. GO GERMANY!!!!!!!!!

Today we went to a Mac store to get my new computer. If you've been reading my blog you probably know that I've had some pretty bad computer problems in the last two years. It's been so annoying with school and everything, so I was super excited when we drove to buy my Mac. I got a MacBook Pro 13". It's super cool. I've been installing important things like Word and Skype. I also got an ipod Nano FREE with my Mac purchase. It's super COOL! I can't wait to get my music figured out so I can listen to my ipod. Right now I'm listening to my radio. It's a pretty nifty ipod. It has cool stuff!

So, I've had a good time in America. It's been fun. :)
Cheers,
Clayton High
<img width='1' height='1' Trekkers

So, I haven't been able to update this blog in a while. I am so sorry, but that is okay, BECAUSE...TODAY!...i finished school. And it feels so good to be done. I feel like I could do anything I want to. I guess that's because I can. What a great feeling. Hahahaha. I haven't talked about this on my blog, but I actually have an organization. Connor and I have been running it a while, but since he is leaving, I have taken over.

High Urban Trekkers...

Yep, that is the name of my organization. Pretty nifty eh? I think so. I abbreviate it as "HUT." HA! I take people all over Delhi and I tell them about the history of it. We visit certain sites and I'll show them around and tell about who ruled what and what this is...and why this is here..blah blah blah. It's super interesting. Many people don't know, but there are actually a lot of sites around Delhi. Delhi is full of history. There are many sites to see, it's INSANE.

Many of the historic sites and monuments are tucked away in neighborhoods, so it's very hard to find them. I actually have a website. It's not published yet, but it will be published soon, so I'll post it on my blog later so you can check that out. Connor and I had a website created, but I made that when I was small and childish. ;) I'm more mature now...so yes. I recreated a website and will be publishing that soon...so look forward to that. Thanks.

P.S. You'll notice on my side bar thing (to the right), there is a thing that says "follow me on twitter" or something. So, if you have twitter you should follow me. Hahaha.
Muse - Absolution

So, like recently I got some money. Like a lot. So, I bought this album. It rocks. It's called Absolution. It's by Muse. Muse is a British rock band...and I muse say that they sound pretty amazing. It's a three person band. The band consists of Matthew Bellamy (Lead vocals, guitar, piano), Christopher Wolstenholme (Bass, backing vocals), and Dominic Howard (drums, percussion). Christopher's last name is weird. I wonder how you pronounce that. Hahaha. Anyways, they rock. They're British, you kinda expect them to own at life, ya know? I think I'm obsessed with British bands...it's weird. Like the other day, I was like Coldplay is such a good band. Then I found out they were British and was like OF COURSE THEY'RE GREAT. Hahahaha. I bought the album on Amazon for $6 dollars. There are 15 songs on the album, so I gotta say that is not a bad deal. Yeah, you can buy mp3 albums on Amazon if you didn't know. Most times they are much cheaper there then on iTunes. Yeah, good thing to know. Unluckily, you can only download the music if you are in the U.S. There is a thing though called Hotspot shield, which lets you get around that. I'm not sure, because I don't use it. Connor does, so that's how I get the music. Yep...I'll give you an overview of the music. 10 is the highest rating given, 0 is the lowest. Honestly you should probably buy the album now and stop wasting your time reading this. I mean come on, 6 bucks that's it. So, stop reading this right now and BUY IT. If that does not convince you then read this rest of this blog post...When you read it '-' these things are not minus symbols...they are just....yeah. Just good thing to keep in mind when you read the bottom.

Muse - Absolution

Intro
The intro song is just weird. It starts out with these drums like you'd hear in an army. And then someone says something that sounds like "march". Yeah. weird. - 3

Apocalypse Please
This song is pretty cool. It's not the best on the album, but I think it sounds nice. The piano parts sound really awesome. It become a bit repetitive at some parts, but it's nice. - 7.4

Time is Running Out
My favorite song on the album. The bass intro is so AMAZING. IT IS INSANE. And Matt's vocals on "ooh ooh oohh yeah yeah yeah" part are just...wow. The drums sound great on the "bury it" part, building up to the chorus. Wow, just an amazing song. Even if you don't buy the album, you should buy this song. - 9.5

Sing for Absolution
I honestly think this song is kinda creepy, but I still like it. Hahaha. Yeah. It's kinda boring and slow, but I think the whole song sorta builds up to this one part at the end. - 6.8

Stockholm Syndrome
Wow! I love this song. It's insane. It's one of those headbanging songs for sure. Matt can sing so high. The backing vocals go perfectly with the song as well. The lyrics are quite excellent too, "This is the last time I'll abandon you. And this is the last time I'll forget you. I WISH I COULDDDDDDD!!!!" - 8.7

Falling Away With You
This is a slower song on the album, but just as good as some of their faster stuff. The guitar picking through the whole song is perfect and foolproof. It may be simple, but it sounds so amazing. - 9.3

Interlude
The interlude is alright. I mean all it is, is an interlude. It's not supposed to be the best. It starts with the ending of "Falling Away With You" so they kinda go right together. It's just some guitar playing with thick distortion on. Nothing to scream about.- 4

Hysteria
Ahhhhh! Another creepy Muse song. I still love it. Guitar - amazing. The solo is pretty commanding. When your listening to the album, this song will definitely be one that will stick out among the others. - 8.3

Blackout
Starts out with something that sounds like a violin. Or maybe a cello? Yeah, not sure. The song is pretty laid back and slow. The lyrics are pretty straight forward. Matt talks about how we only have a short time here on earth and how we shouldn't waste it. At least that's how I interpret it. Ha. - 7.3

Butterflies and Hurricanes
The bass is playing at the start of the song. It's hard to hear, but if you're wearing earphones you should be able to hear it. It sounds really interesting. I don't want to say creepy. Maybe eerie and unusual. Yeah, that sounds good. In like the middle of the song Matt plays some piano and it sounds so good. - 7.8

The Small Print
This is intense. It starts out with some heavy guitar and when the drums kick in it's simply amazing. Matt's vocals on this song are the BEST. I love it when he says "insannneee". It sounds soo...delicious? Yeah, but really no kidding, it's sick. - 8.1

Endlessly
The beginning of the song starts with some interesting drums. It sounds pretty nice. There's this one part in the song, near the end where they use some sort of strange instrument or special effects, which makes it sound pretty spooky. I love it. Hahaha. - 7

Thoughts Of A Dying Atheist
The fast guitar picking sounds great. Combined with the drums and the bass it sounds perfect. Matt's vocals on the part "yeah a yeah yeah aaaa yeah.." are great, because I don't think anyone expects him to sing the song like that. It's great to mix things up now and then. - 7.6

Ruled By Secrecy
This song is another one of those slow songs on the album. Matt plays no guitar, only keyboard or piano, whatever you want to call it. It's an okay song. I think they should have built up to the song to a certain part and then unleash their musical talents...or something. It seems like the song stays at the same pace throughout.- 6

Fury
This is the longest song on the album, 5:02. The guitar and drums, sound pretty good together, but to be honest I think the lyrics are pretty stupid. The verses are okay, but the chorus is..yeah kinda lame. Hahaha. - 5.4

Okay, so, if you haven't bought the album yet....well...that's just sad. Let me try to paint a picture for you. I would run 6 miles for no reason at all to get this album. And I would also pay the 6 bucks. I mean seriously. Muse is a good band. This is a great album. It's 6 dollars on Amazon. Need I say more?

No...

Wow....really? text-align: center;">

You're probably wondering...."Who is Chris Pfeiffer?" Well...Chris Pfeiffer is a beast. He is a world stunt biking champion! He's a German fellow who is a real nice guy. He's on tour in India. About a week ago I saw this article in a magazine saying that he's going to be doing stunts at DLF Place, Saket in a week. DLF is a mall, so I was like YEAH! I really want to see this. I was super excited and finally I got to go. So, yep! I went with my parents and a bunch of my friends. IT WAS GREAT! We had a blast. We were all sitting around waiting for the performance. So we decided to take a group picture...

[left to right] Connor, Elijah, Chris, Clayton, Micah, Caleb, Daniel, Joseph, and kid I've never met before(AWKWORD) Danielle was there too she's just camera scared or something. Hahaha. She took the photo.

So, we're all just hanging around waiting for everything to start. At this point it's already past 5(that's when it's supposed to start). So, we're all just standing and then the whole crowd there just starts running to a different part of the mall. So, Caleb, Micah and I just dash off of course! WHAT IS GOING ON? We see this dude on a bike going really fast...so we're like oh...Is that Chris Pfeiffer?

Then this car pulls up and everyone is crowding the car. Chris was in the car. I never figured out who the dude was that dashed off so fast, but anyways..everyone is crowding the car and then Mr. Pfieffer gets out. He goes to the place where everyone is waiting while I follow him. I felt like a stalker, but it was awesome. We get there and then he goes somewhere else again. So, our whole group runs into the mall and on the balcony part trying to see where he is. Then we all decide to run back down. Afterward we were like, "Why did we run up to the top and then back down? That was really stupid...and not to mention tiring." Chris Pfeiffer finally showed up and grabbed his bike and drove it through the mall. I was also following him like a stalker at this point too. It was funny.

So, finally we get to the other side and there's this huge crowd of people near an underground parking garage area. The whole film crew is there. The Red Bull truck is there. Everything is where it is supposed to be. So Chris drives out and does these crazy awesome stunts like standing on his bike, twirling around, standing on the edge of the bike, sitting on the front part of the bike, doing a manual, nose manual...So, Chris Pfeiffer is basically being awesome. I'm trying to find a good spot to take pictures and film and stuff. Micah and Caleb can't see anything cause they're short. It's funny. Elijah also can't see anything either, so he climbs on Connor's back. Chris(not Pfeiffer...Rempel) and I are pressing in front trying to get good footage. Everything is crazy. People are yelling and screaming. It was wild. I recall saying I felt like I was at a Green Day concert or something. It was awesome.

From Chris Pfeiffer

Yeah...That's pretty insane. It was a great performance. If you want to watch some of the footage I put together check it out below...

After everything was all over I was like where is Daniel and everyone else? I didn't see them through the entire thing. Apparently Daniel had left, because it was raining. Just to let you know only like one drop fell. I was like Daniel is such a pansy. So, Daniel and his group left so that left the rest of us. Mr. Pfeiffer went inside the mall so everyone followed him. He went to Costa. Caleb and I barely got inside, before the guards barred the entrances. It was awesome. So, I got to speak to Chris Pfeiffer a bit. It was great.

Just to let you know...during most of the performance I was probably screaming 'Cole Pfieffer' because of Prison Break. If you watch Prison Break you'll understand, but it was kinda funny. Everyone was always correcting me as well. "NO CLAYTON! It's CHRIS! CHRRIIISS" I was like, "Yeah I know...GO COLE!" Hahaha.

After Caleb and I spoke with Chris Pfeiffer we went outside and hung out at the Red Bull truck. We went up to them and asked if they could give us free Red Bull. THEY DID! Red Bull is so gross, but we drank it anyways. We got a great group photo of all of us drinking our Red Bull. It was a new kind as well! Something about no sugar in it or something...Yeah whatever..it was still disgusting. Hahaha.

Once everything finally ended our family went to eat at the Big Chill. I was sitting there thinking about what a great time I had when Chris(Rempel..not Pfeiffer) called me and was like, "Clayton! Chris is outside Big Chill...check it out!" Connor and I ran outside and Chris Pfeiffer was there putting up his bikes he had used for the performance. In my mind I was like, "Wow..I bet he hates all of these people crowding his space and stuff." Yeah poor guy. It was true though. People followed him everywhere. Micah asked Mr. Pfeiffer if he would give his hat to him, but he said, "Nope". It was funny.

After Mr. Pfeiffer finished putting his bikes away he signed some of the fans cards and stuff. I GOT HIS SIGNATURE! WOOHOO. I went back inside and ate my penna at Big Chill. Chris(Rempel not Pfeiffer) came by one last time, because he had got me a Chris Pfeiffer poster. HECK YES! It is so cool. Once I laminate it it's going in my room.

Soooo...yep. I'm pretty much a big Chris Pfeiffer fan now. I wonder how many times I said the his name in this post. Probably over 100. Hahahaha. When I was looking over this post for mistakes I realized that i said "Cole" instead of "Chris" like the whole time...That would have been bad. Hahaha.

Clayton High

thoughts-a-running through my head

I have been up to a lot lately. I recently got back from Rishikesh as you guys probably already know. If you haven't seen the pictures check them out here. I had a ton of fun rafting and hanging out with my friends. It was very relaxing and I needed a nice break.

Besides Rishikesh other things have happened. The Senior Banquet is coming up. We're still not sure how many seniors are coming or what's going to happen. The problem is that it's May 7th and they want me to make a slideshow of all of the senior's pictures. All of this stuff is pretty pressurizing. If I manage to get all of the senior's pics by Friday I can make a powerpoint with the help of maybe other youth and my family. It should be good...as long as "alright" music is chosen to accompany the pictures. Hopefully it's not country. STUPID country music. Hahaha. There are still some arrangments being made on the Banquet and then we're all ready to go.

I keep thinking, "Man the Banquet is going to be a blast!" but then I remember what the Banquet is really showing and doing. We're saying goodbye to our seniors, to Connor. It's going to be super sad. Yeah, the Banquet will have it's moments of awesomeness and funness, but it really will be sad. I guess I just got to accept the fact that Connor won't be around any more. I was looking at songs today that have the word 'goodbye' in them and my Mum was like NO! Too sad. I'm like yep. You're right. Hahaha. I've been thinking about what I'm planning to do when Connor leaves. I mean seriously. Hahaha. I guess I'll be hanging out with other people a lot more maybe? Hmmm...I don't know. I'm pretty sure I've decided to work out a lot more though. That'll be good fun. Hahaha. Probably listen to more emo bands when Connor leaves. Probably be going to the mall a lot as well. I guess I won't be bossed around by Connor either. I'll be FREE! Yeah, I'm really not sure. I guess I'll just lay around my house all day working out and playing video games. That's a great life... :P

Besides thinking about the Banquet and what I'm gonna do with my stinkin' life I've been doing a lot of school lately. Yesterday I did like two weeks of history. BEAST! My teachers are starting to offer incenitive to get me to finish sooner. They say..."Hmm...if you finish by this date then you will get 10 bonus points." Or my math teacher said if I finished by a certain date she would drop my two lowest test scores. So, I'm really pushing towards that as well. Been doing a lot of math you can imagine. Ha.

Goa...was awesome.

Goa was great. I had a great time. I'm not going to get into details, but it was great. The beach was so AMAZING. I got some great pictures of it. It was nice. It was really windy and super humid. I always sweating and my hair was always curly. Hahaha. They had a pool where we stayed though so that was nice. The little kids took tests while the teens did a book study. We read a book called "Crazy Love" by Francis Chan. It's a great book. I think you should read it. While we were at Goa we sang Kareoke. It was AWESOME. I'll probably post a video later...so get ready. :)

And now it's time for another slideshow....yahhhhhh!!!....

Hey guys (again)...two blog posts in one day. crazy. crazy. CRAAZYY. AHHHH. Yeah. So, yesterday morning I went to Old Delhi. Old Delhi is a crazy place with crazy little lanes, that are super crowded. It's quite a lot of fun though! You get to see what Delhi is really like. At times it can be a bit overwhelming, but again, it's fun. It's a nice place to get good pictures to post on your blog. :P

Infact I took like a lot of photos when I went. We left and took the bus. My Mum and I were taking some of our friends there who have not been in Delhi for that long. It was good. It's quite a bit ways out, but the bus is super cheap. We were planning to meet some people there, but they were late so we decided to visit the Red Fort. The Red Fort is red and yesterday was my very first visit. It costs like 5 bucks to get in but it looks cool.

It was really big and red. You walk in and there's this guy with a gun in this little thing cage thingy for proteciton. I was like what the heck? I guess they get a lot of attacks or something...hahah joking. I was scared of taking a picture of him, but I think I finally did.

After we walked around the Red Fort for a while we got a call from our other friends, and went out to meet them at a Jain Temple. On the way there we passed a urinal on the side of the road. It had a funny name...

There were dogs in the urnial. Both sides infact! It was hilarious.

So, after the fun part with the dogs in the urnial we crossed the street and headed to the Jain Temple to meet up with our friends. Jains are a people group/religion. Jain's will not kill anything. Sometimes they wear masks, becasue they are afraid they may breathe in bugs or insects and kill them. Jains are vegans because, again, they will not kill any living thing. Some Jains are sky clad. Sky clad Jains are people who do not wear any clothes. I've seen like one or two Jains walking down the street once...They were the sky clad ones. NO clothes at ALL. It was like oh...I just saw two naked men walking down the street. That's a little odd. At the Jain Temple they have a bird hospital there. They take care of all kinds of birds, but mainly piegons. This time when I went there was a peacock there. Pretty neat. After we walked around the Jain Temple for a while we walked the street and just looked at stuff. We passed by many temples and even a church! After walking for a whlie we turned off the main road. When you turn off the main road you get on these small tiny lanes, where there's hardly room to walk since there are bikes and things like that.

Yeah, so you can probably understand waht I mean when I say tight lanes.

We walked along and came along a parantha shop where we always eat when we go to Old Delhi. Paranthas are these delicious like fried bread things. That makes no sense, but they taste so good! You can order all kinds of paranthas. You can eat aloo (potato), paneer (an Indian cheese), kaela (which is bananna), normal, or even sugar. I've tried the sugar and it is so gross. Don't eat it. I get the paneer parantha normally. It tastes delicious.

And here are all of the sauces you can deep your parantha in. Some of them taste weird, but most of them are quite delicious! I espicially liked the one with the potato in it.

After we ate we continued along the way...There were many cool doors that were old looking. So i was like oh. Perfect time to use the black and white feature on my camera. BAM! If it's old, black and white will make it look older and cooler...

Proffesional looking much? Hecks yahhh.

Cool picture of a lane!

So, we finally get out of the small lanes and then head for the Jamid Masjid. The Jamid Masjid is a Muslim place of worship. They made us take our shoes off at the door. I brought socks, because of the floor being hot. I think it's fun to walk around in socks...umm yeah! We walked around a bit, while my Mum took our shoes and cameras and went around to the other side. Oh yeah! It costs a lot of money to take your camera in so we decided not too. We went up a minaret, which is a tall tower for about 2 dollars. It was totally worth it though. You climb many steps and you are very tired. At the top there is a nice breeze and a spectacular view. After the Jamid Masjid we went and ate at a local resturaunt in the area. They had pretty nice food there. After that I went to the mall and just hung out a bit. I had coffee too.

That's it guys. Goa tomorrow! Yay. It's gonnna be fun. I'm kinda (super) excited. yeah. I suggest that you check out the rest of my photos of Old Delhi. Some of them are really nice looking!

Isn't this slide show thing cool? If you want to see the pictures even more closer up click here:

http://picasaweb.google.co.in/111846189597249030518/RedFortOldDelhi?feat=directlink

That's it! I'm sorry if there are many errors. I'm not going to check. I'm too lazy and i'm tired. It's late! Cheers, Clay-tone

Hard-Hat search & Cookies

Hello people! I've been up to a lot lately...so i'll feel you in! I meant to blog yesterday, but as I've said I have been super busy.

So, we are leaving to Goa tomorrow for a conference there. It's a homeschool conference, so my Mum wants us to go and represent. Haha. I am really looking forward to it. TOMORROW! yahhhhh! It's gonna be awesome. So, anyways, at the conference one night we have to dress up as a character from a book. Connor chose his Driver Texas Manual book. There's actually not a character from that book, but a while ago I made up one called "Safety Sam". So, my brother took that name and now he is gonna use it for the conference. For his character he decided he needed to find a hard hat.

Mandy had told us where to get one, so we called up Coy just because we knew he would love to come along. Our first attempt happened on Thursday. We left in the afternoon sometime, and finally got there. When we were heading the right direction, Connor decided he needed to get out, cause he needed to practice music. It was kinda funny, just him hopping out. But yeah. So, the auto continued and we finally got to the market where the hard helmet store was. We searched the whole market for about an hour and a half. We asked a lot of people. Finally, we asked someone who knew where it was. We finally found it, but it was closed. It was sad. Across the street was a cafe coffee day, so Coy and I were like oh, okay. We'll just go there. Haha. So, we hung out there a bit drinking coffee and playing this silly game. There on our table was a piece of paper that had like cricket stuff on it. you had to spot 20 differences between two pictures and find 12 cricket terms in one of those wordy things. We only found 10 words, but we got all of the differences. The next day we went around noon. This time Connor was with us. We got there and it was closed. We were SO sad. We went across the street again and had coffee. Connor spotted the other two cricket terms we were so happy that we found them all.

That night was youth and I had a great plan, which involved cookies. Everyone would put a cookie on their head and try to get the cookie in their mouth without using their hands or arms. It was so funny to watch. I got some great footage of the amazing game. Check it out below...

Hahaha. Anyways, that game went well. Quite well.

There was a lot of stuff we did on Saturday...but, i'm kind of lazy. and a little tired of blogging...so maybe I'll do that later. GOA TOMORROW! YAHHHH! The whole time I was boiling eggs. That's when Coy left. He seemed pretty sad about his loss, but that's okay. He's humble. :D When Coy left we decided to pull out the eggs and start decorating them! We were wishing Coy could stay and join us, but he had to go. Ohwell.

Anyways, we didn't have any super speical coloring dying gear or whatever so we just used sharpies. We had 5 eggs, but I already made one this morning. His name was Roy. My Mum ate him, but first put him in the microwave and blew him up. (Roy was cold...he needed warming) Yeah. I almost cried. Roy had a rat tail. Did you know if you put eggs in the microwave they blow up? Yeah, they do. Mandy, Connor, and I used the other eggs and decorated them. It was AWESOME. We used cotton as hair. Hahahahaha. We made some pretty interesting eggs...take a look...

So...the eggs had names. Left to right: Mandy, George Washington, Connor, and Count Olaf.

Hahhahaha. How awesome is that? The other cotton behind their heads was a cushion for them to lay on. Mandy made Mandy and I made George Washington and Count Olaf and Connor made Connor. yeah...hahaha

Here is a picture of Mandy, Connor, and I with our eggs! :)
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;

I am chilling out here at my round table drinking some coffee and about to eat some hippo snacks. Hippo snacks are this sorta new thing in India. They taste like croutons and they have the most strangest flavors. All of my friends have tried them and said they taste weird...BUT ITS A LIE! They taste awesome...I've had only one falvor so far - Italian Pizza.

Whoops, it's upside-down. Ohwell, that's your problem. You can solve this problem by either turning your computer upsidedown or doing a hand stand. Yeah...sorry guys.

I would be eating them right now, but I don't want to get crumbs all over the keyboard. The bag calls them "baked munchies." Hahahhaa. The best part about these munchies is reading the back. On the bag there is a hippo and on the back he tells you why you need to eat these baked munchies.
This is what it says...

"Hello,
me hippo.
Hippo makes lots of hippo delicious baked munchies for eveyrone.

Hippo feel bad you work, work, work
and not eat on time. HIppo like you
keep Hippo munchies handy.

Look hippo care for you. Hippo say,
'don't go hungry.'

Hippo think hungry peopel less
happy. Hungry people more fight.

HIppo believe world will be better place if nobody hungry.
So, Hippo try."

It's hilarious. Everytime I buy a bag of hippo snacks I always read the back (outloud). It is so funny. I have a small pack right now, but with a big pack it's even more hilarious. more hilarious is not correct grammar, but I will still use it in this case. The hippo talks about how since you have a big pack you should share and make everyone happy. Erin Tabor once saw a truck that was talking about how India no have naitonal snack so hippo give you this. She texted me what it said and I was like YES! GO hippo. all the way. I have yet to see a hippo truck, but I can't wait. Anyways...hippo munchies are the greatest...so stop reading my blog...get off your bottom...and go outside and go buy some hippo snacks...

Crystal Bowersox

So yeah...I don't really watch Idol. You've probably read that in some of my earlier posts, but I like Crystal. She's the girl with the awesome dreads and has the kid. Yeah, she is a beast. she also plays the guitar and the hamaronica. and she even has the name of her kid TATTOOED on her. i'm not sure where, but STILL. I think if I ever have a kid i'll tattoo his name on me. Actually I dont think I will that would be a little weird.

Right now this other girl is singing andd shes doing really bad. poor person. she'll probably lose. ohwell. That's life right? hahahaha.

Hey! Today was youth. I led games. It went really well. I did this strange game where people ran everywhere pulling other people up from their sitting position. It's a kinda odd game, but it went well and it was fun.

Another thing that has been going on lately is SENIOR pictures. Yes. SENIOR. NO, not me. I'm not a senior. My brother is. So, he'll be leaving in June to college. He'll do great. I think. hahah.
Anyways, yeah that happened on Thursday, so we went to get shirts for his pictures on Wednesday. Of course it couldn't be just him in his pictures. There were many family pictures, and some of just me and Connor. So, on Wednesday we got some shirts. I got one, Connor got one...yeah. Also, while we were there we got nice clothes for the banquet. Yes, the banquet. I'm guessing you don't know what that is. Well the banquet is celebrating the Seniors graduation whatever stuff. That is going down on May 7th. It'll be good. So, everyone 8th grade and up will go to this fancy hotel and we'll take picrtues and eat food and stuff while being dressed in nice clothes. There is also a swimming pool at the hotel we decided to go to. So hey..we may swim. We shall see.

The pictures went well (that happened on Thursday). Andrea Shefferman took Connor's photos. My Dad wanted to be in like every single picture and we were like...no. Hahahhaa. Connor also brought his guitar as a prop so that was pretty cool. Overall I think it went quite well. I'm not sure though since we haven't seen all of the pics yet so we may be wrong. Very wrong. Yeahh. There was this really weird picture that Andrea took of me. She wanted us to jump off this thing to get a jumping picture of us. Well, yeah.. that didn't work. She like zoomed in on my face and made me look all weird. My hair is like flying everywhere and it's like what? hahha. yeah. And then she posted it on my wall, so taht's where I first saw it.

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; I am sitting at coffee bean sending in emails for school and stuff. Yes, we still do not have internet. It's pretty sad. My computer crashed recently, so it's been quite lame for school. I've had to move all my school over to other computers and work on there. So, it has been quite difficult for me. I am surviving though.

Last week we were in Dehradun. Our parents were there, speaking at conferences and Connor and I were in some kid's camp there. It was pretty good. It was nice, because the weather was cooler, because we were in the mountains. The nights were cold the days weren't as hot as they are in Delhi, so quite enjoyable! There were volunteers helping the kids from Hong Kong. They were pretty awesome. Unfortunately their English was not the greatest, but that made it all the more funnier! hahaha. It was pretty great, because whenever they said "play" it sounded a lot like "pray". So, when they said it we were like all bowing our heads and stuff...then it's like ohhhh...This is awkword. you said play....not pray. Why would you say pray anyways? Hahaha. So, yes it was really funny. I enjoyed it a lot actually.

There was a teacher there that led our Bible study. It was okay...not the best. I mean, honestly. Some of the assignments were like trying to experience God's creation and stuff. One time our assignment was to look at clouds and stuff, but the day he chose it there were like no clouds. So it was like oh..okay....now what? hahahaha. It was kind of awkword, but whatever.

There was also a teacher named Philip. He was awesome and super good at the guitar. He led worship while we were there. He taught us how to read music. like notes or whatever...What are they called? The little things that have a line and then a dot at the bottomm. Sometimes they are connected. Do you know what I mean? If you don't...go on skype (if you have it) and look at all the motions there...I mean smiley faces and stuff. I'm pretty sure they show the music notes as a motion there. Anyways, it was pretty awesome, but hard for me. I was like AH I DONT UNDERSTAND THIS!a;lsfkjas;lfj....I survived though. Whatever doesn't kill you...makes you stronger. I finally understood it...a little. Anyways, we had to write songs. Mine was pretty lame so don't go asking me to sing it. Connor's was awesome thouogh...so next time you see him go bug him about it. hahaha.

Also Philip taught us clapping. Sounds lame, I know, but it was pretty awesome. We read the notes and we had to like clap when we saw them. So, at the end of the week we had a preformance where we, like yeah...clapped, slapped our thighs(WEIRD), beat our chests, stomped one foot, and jumped. It sounded okay though...wasn't that bad.

The last class we did was my favorite. Kung Fu. Let me say that again...

Kung Fu...

Wow, what an amazing class. Our teacher for that was Crystal. She was hilarious. She was also very flexible, which is of course why she teaches us Kung Fu. We learned this whole routine. It may look easy, but it was actually very very hard. After the first day of Kung Fu our thighs hurt bad. Before we did Kung Fu she would make us do stretches...She could kick her leg up in the air and like hit her hand. It was freaking awesome. It was a hard class, but I enjoyed it A LOT. One of the funniest things about this class is what we had to wear.

<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_9fQWjYw58-Y/S55aIr9mheI/AAAAAAAAAGI/vBhl4zNPI6Q/s1600-h/IMG_8010.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; cssfloat: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; I'm not sure if you can see it in the picture...buuuttt....it was see-through and tight. Which made it all the more awkword. We had to wear it everytime we were about to do Kung Fu. It made me laugh so much. Everytime I wore I just laughed my head off. It was HILARIOUS. They also gave us a belt which you can see in the picture. Another awesome thing about Kung Fu was doing it at sun down. It looked really cool, because we were on a mountain when we did it. We were on this high place where you could like see the sun and then us doing Kung Fu...it was amazing. It's hard to describe, but it was really awesome.

Here is a FREAKIN' AMAZING PICTURE OF ME JUMP-KICKING...AHHH SICK! I'm pretty sure I'm going to make this my profile pic on facebook! hahaha. You know the usual...bread, rice, something to put on rice...maybe chicken? Yeah. At the camp there was also a person from Bolivia. It was like wow. This is so random. So, we met him and spoke Spanish and a little Quechua and stuff. It was pretty funny. He was a nice guy. Another great thing about the camp was that there was a ping pong table. Connor and I were liek yay cause we brought our paddles knowing there was one there. We had some nice games...don't tell anyone, but Connor won most of them. Sad day. I know. Hahah. But yes! It was quite fun.

We played a lot of fun games there and things like that, but on the second to last day we did something very special. We had a banquet. It was quite fun. Everyone loaded on a bus and went to this nice hotel higher up the moutain we were on. It was great! They had bowling and everything else you can imagine. Instead of bowling though I played a gentleman's sport. Croquet. It was pretty fun actually. I lost croquet, but I had a lot of fun.

<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_9fQWjYw58-Y/S55bFwD2ZcI/AAAAAAAAAGY/asik_Pep3-I/s1600-h/IMG_8092.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; cssfloat: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; After everyone was finished bowling and doing whatever, we went into one of the rooms they had prepared to eat food. Before we ate we played some games, like two truths and a lie and this one game where the westenerers would listen to a Chinese idiom and then try to guess what it means. The Chinese would have to do the same with the English idioms. The food was delilicious. They had bread, soup, meat, and everything else in between. After the meal the guy from Bolivia played the offical Bolivian instrument. It's sorta like a flute, but a ton different. It was pretty neat.

After everything was over we went back on the bus, by this time it was night. Crystal and I were in the very back of the bus. Also Crystal and I get motion-sick so I have no idea why we were back there, but we were. So, most of the way down I wasn't feeling so good, but I made it. Crystal didn't look so good either. It was like umm...why are we back here? ohwell...hahaha.

Then the last day we did the final performance for the other people at the camp. We did our Kung Fu moves and showed them our clapping performance. Lucky, I did not have to sing my song to them. Hahahahhaa.

Check out the rest of my pictures below! Just click the picture of the flowers. haha. It should work.

<td align="center" style="background: url(http://picasaweb.google.com/s/c/transparent_album_background.gif) no-repeat left 50%; A lot has happened recently since my last post. LIKE A LOT. Hahaa. We moved to a new house. So, that was a pretty crazy time. The moving killed my school, so now I’m a bit behind, but that’s okay. We didn’t move far. We live very close to our old house and we also brought our round dining room table. So no worries.

Our new house doesn’t have internet yet, so we have to go to our old house, which has internet, if we want to download school things, check mail, or go on facebook. Unfortunately Holi(Don't have a clue what I'm talking about? Click here) has come, which has made it harder to go to our old house. Every time we need to download something we have to walk by a lot of houses which may have people on their roofs throwing colored balloons at you. Another problem we have is that when we moved we left a lot of our old gross shirts behind, so when we go out of the house we are like, “Where’s a dirty shirt I can wear? AHHHHHH!”

I haven’t been out of the house much. I mainly just stay inside and cower in a corner, but today I needed to go out. I am at my old house now, because I need to download Adobe for school and also some classes. And today is Holi, so that is quite unfortunate. Luckily I left in the morning, so there wasn’t anybody out yet. Things will definitely start to heat up as the day goes on though.

Also, my Eagle Ceremony is on Wednesday! WEDNESDAY! That is pretty close by. I have officially become an Eagle Scout, if you didn’t know already…So yeah, that will be a pretty big event. A lot of people are coming and I have to stand up in front of them dressed up and stuff. Hahahaha. There will definlty be pictures I’m guessing.

Anyways, that’s it guys!
Cheers,
Lonestar

...but you can call me Clayton

Hello.

I had fun today.

Today I was at youth alive! I guess most of my readers know what that is, but if you don’t please keep reading. Youth Alive is usually every other Friday night and is a place where the youth gather and have fun. First we play some games, which I normally lead, unless I’m absent or sick. Than we sing songs, then we hear someone talk about stuff…you know like God and yeah! After that we go to the mall and hang out. There’s a Cinnabon at the mall, but I haven’t eaten there in a while because when I do I feel bad because I feel like a glutton. Yeah, I just feel terrible. Hahaha. It’s good though, truly is.

Since I was leading games today I decided to do something different…I call this game “Throw The Candy In Your Mouth Game”…and that is exactly what you do. There are two people together and one person throws candy in the other person’s mouth. It really is great. HAahhahah. And extremely funny. Yep. I got Mandy to fund my project, so she got the candy and helped me lead the games – actually she basically led the whole game. I was being a pansy today and just didn’t lead…actually I don’t know why I didn’t lead that’s just what happened. I go the idea, because one time I was at Mandy’s house fixing light bulbs with connor and we were throwing spicy cheeto balls in our mouths…so I just started throwing it in mandys mouth and..yeah. That is the result.

Mandy made us name tags…or just me? I’m not sure… but the name tag is really cool. They describe our talents at catching things that are soaring through the air…it really is great. Below you can view the exceptionally cool name tag. I love it. Like I LOVE IT. SO YEAH:D

So, that’s it! Hope you enjoyed the post as much as I enjoyed the name tag.

Love, Clayton
(ps. I do not like American Idol any more. I do not like it because Paula is gone. And I am sad. :( And then Simon is going to leave soon and the show will fall apart. So, I’m just walking away now. Yep. That is all I have to say.

I am sitting at the round table while hearing the singing of American Idol in the background. Mandy was saying that I should try to incorporate the music into my blog. I thought it would be hard…and I’m not sure how I do this. I guess I could try. I probably won’t though. SO yeah!:P I tried. It’s too hard. I give up. I don’t know how I can incorporate man flowers into my blog. It’s just…yeah. No, it’s not happening. Hahaha.

Hey! I have a question! What is your favorite flower? Leave a comment…(this is my way to get people to…umm…comment more!:D)

So…what else is there to talk about? Well…I played Frisbee today! That was great FUN! I was very excited about that. And on Thursday I made hot kool-aid! It was so gross. It was so strong and it was just…wow. Yeah. Wayy TOO STRONG. And I watched the last matrix with John and Connor! Isn’t that amazing? Yeah, I love the matrix. It’s great. Very…deep and mind boggling..and yeah.

Yes…this is all I have to say. It’s not much, but it’s enough. And that’s what counts. I hope you read my blog. Thankyou. SOOOO yeah…I havven’t posted in ages. I know. Don’t be mean to me. It’s just I’ve been busy…Christmas was awesome. I GOT A MAN BAG! And rootbeer shampoo and a lot of cool stuff. I had a great time! Quite fun, quite fun. And the new year was awesome too. I jumped in 2009 and I landed in 2010. IT WAS SO COOL! And then afterwards all my friends were like I’m the first one to hug this person in 2010 and I’m the first person to get a call in 2010 and I’m the first person that texted you…and yah…haha. IT was so funny. Really great.

So recently our family has been watching Prison Break. And if you haven’t seen Prison Break, you need to watch it. Cause it’s awesome. Anyways, if you’ve seen the first season, you know that Scofield makes a lot of Origami cranes… and he makes flowers for the lady doctors! :D…haha awesome! Anyways, while I was watching I was greatly inspired. Greatly. So, now I have begun to do Origami and wow is it amazing. Yes, folding paper sounds REALLY boring. BUT MAN, it’s awesome! Kudos to Mandy Kellums for being the ultimate supplier of my Origami paper. Just recently she has gotten me REAL origami paper from japan. So yeah. She’s amazing. I salute you. Anyways, so, if I ever get in prison I have decided that I will make roses for the lady doctors, and they will digg me. Ahahahhaha. Yep! So Prison Break is a great show.

New topic..so like yeah…the whole month of June I’ve been sick. Coughing off and on the whole month. It’s been very bothersome. But recently I’ve been coughing up blood. IT’s so gross. SO, I went to the doctor today to get it checked out. The doc said I had a weeze, and that the blood must be ffrom coughing too much. I got an xray and they took my blood. The xray was clean, so I didn’t have an infection in my lung so that was good. I was subscribed inhalers though, because the doctor thinks I may have asthma and stuff. But, besides that. Everything is good. Hahaha. Inhalers are awesome. Hahahaha. You like breathe the stuff in and yeah…it’s like magic in this little tube inhaler thing. It’s…yeah…fun. Haahhahahaha.

Anyways. That’s it. I hope to post more soon, and maybe more often? Yeah. Whatever.
Cheers
Clay-tone High

i'm dreaming of a white christmas...

Key word in the title? dreaming. Do you know what that means? It means that not even in a thousand years will it happen. It will never snow in Delhi people, so stop dreaming and start living. Hahahaha. Yeah sometimes I can be a downer about some things…sorry guys get over it.

Anyways, I haven’t posted in a while, because I’ve been pretty sick, but I’m finally recovering! And I’m so excited about Christmas. CHRISTMAS IS AWESOME! You get cookies and presents and yeah! It’s just so joyful. Yeah, it’s great. And then after Christmas all the cool kids brag about their awesome presents. Hahaha. It’s funny really. Sugar cookies are awesome. I think my favorite sugar cookie cut-out has to be the bell. It’s just so joyful and big! It’s a big bell…not small…BIG. When I eat it I try to imagine thousands of bells ringing on Christmas day…it’s wonderful.

So, for this Christmas a family is coming to stay with us…they have 3 little kids. The kids are getting bikes for Christmas. So, it’ll be crazy at our house. Their gonna be so excited! Yep, it should be a good Christmas! I love wearing my red pants and an awesome Christmas hat..that lights up! YAH BOI! Hahaha. Anyways, I’m really excited! Christmas is the most wonderful time….OF THE YEAARRRRR! The most happiest time!! Yeahhh!

Well…that’s it people. Have a holly jolly Christmas
Best wishes,
Clayton

slide clayton

So, yesterday was a special day. Do you want to know why?

Well, yesterday, pastor Karl, did not call me Connor! Yes, I know! How cool is that? I knew everyone was really excited and waiting for me to post more about the epic series of Clayton vs. Pastor Karl…or more commonly known as Pastor Joey vs. Connor. Hahahaha. The reason I haven’t posted much on this was because for the last three weeks my replacement has been doing the powerpoint for me – thanks topher.

(Have you not read any of my older blog posts and are wondering what I am talking about right now? Check out the post “did you know?” before you continue reading…)

Anyways, so yesterday I was doing the powerpoint and then when the pastor called for a slide he said “Slide Clayton”

Clayton.

It’s nice when people get your name right. Well, sometimes. I sort of missed getting called Connor by the pastor. GASP. Suddenly all of my readers are confused. Please, let me explain. When I mess up the slides everyone thinks Connor messed it up! But, now that the pastor is getting my name right everyone will know I’m a failure! A FAILURE!

Nobody knew I was a failure until the pastor got my name right, before that they just thought Connor was. Hahahahaha.

Now, the question is…Will the pastor continue to get my name right or will the battle continue? Will I have to resort to the big cardboard name tag? Let’s hope not.

Oh! Yesterday was also a special day because our family set up the tree with Mandy! Yay.

Haqqy Holidays,
clayton high

My Eagle Scout Project

Yes, finally a post talking about my Eagle Scout Project and everything related.
For funding my Eagle Scout Project I have been doing tour walks. Connor and I run a business called High Urban Trekkers…I guess you could call it a business but whatever. So, Connor and I will take journeymen and teams that come in Delhi on walks like in awesome ruins. Then we’ll tell them about the ruins and why their there and who built them and stuff. So, that’s how I’ve been getting my money to fund my project. I also have put in a request to AWA(American Women’s Association) to see if they could help fund some of my project. They have already emailed me back saying that they can fund only a little bit. That’s fine cause I think the money I’m raising will be efficient.

Sooo. The first walk Connor and I did was the Tughlakabad walk. That was like a long time ago. 10/18/2009. A long time ago. Hahahaa. We went to this fort with a bunch of journeymen and just talked about it. It was good. It went well.

The second walk was the Hauz Khas walk. 11/14/2009. What was that? Like two weeks ago? I’m too lazy to do the math. You can do it though if you want. Hauz Khas is like a forest and they have deer in cages and stuff. It’s pretty cool. They have a tank full of water that’s green. It’s pretty gross. If it were kool-aid it would be okay, but it wasn’t. Sometimes people go swimming in it. It’s disgusting. Hahahaa.

Yep, that’s the green water friends! Doesn’t look so green, but it was. Believe me. Hahaha.
And that’s some sort of fountain thing that shoots water. Looks like a boat.

This is inside one of the structures. It’s grass and some dome shaped building. Also a random man.

After the tour everyone went home except for some of us that played Frisbee in some parks in Hauz Khas. We played Frisbee golf. We had to hit things with the Frisbees and try to get it in the least number of throws. It was actually a lot of fun.

Everyone went home except for Scott, me, and my friend – his name is Topher. We had some limca and then there was this random guru dude standing around. So I convinced Scott to stand beside him so I could take his picture.

Right when I was going to take the picture the man started to talk away, so the picture wasn’t perfect! He said he wanted money, so the three of us got together and all contributed to the cause.

And then finally…the result…

That walk was pretty exciting and very fun! Especially the Frisbee part! Now…the third walk was in Old Delhi. 11/21/2009. This walk was just last Saturday! Connor and I did not lead this walk…we had a guest speaker lead this walk. My father! I just came along for fun. Connor slept in. hahaha. Old Delhi is pretty crazy. If you ever go you’ll know what I mean. They’re random lanes going everywhere and it is super crowded and such. We stopped at a shop and had breakfast. When my Dad does this tour we always stop there because they have awesome paranthas(bread stuff that’s like fried and yeah!). It’s amazing food. AMAZING!

I had a paneer parantha! It has cheese in it. It was pretty much amazing. Oh, did I mention that paranthas are amazing? Well they are! HA! :P

After our breakfast we continued to walk around and then finally we ended up at the end of the tour in a mosque called the Jamid Masjid…and I probably just spelt that wrong. Hahahaha. At the Jamid Masjid there’s a minaret you can climb. A minaret is a tower by the way guys. And there’s a cool breeze at the top and an okay view.

When the walk was finished we went and ate at KFC! Right when we walked in they started playing snow patrol…and I was like yes, this day keeps on getting better and better. Yep, it was a good day! Lindsay got some good pictures of the walk but she hasn’t posted them anywhere yet. I’m pretty excited about seeing them.

That’s how the walks have been going on! Now I’m going to tell you about some of the stuff we’ve been doing in the park. As I said in my post, "Your Appearance," when we first got there crowds of kids followed us…I think the kids are getting used to us so there’s not as much staring and stuff. One time I went with a few volunteers to help dig holes and clean up the park. When we got on site the man we were working with wasn’t there…so it seemed like nothing was going to happen. That’s when a random lady showed up with a pick axe. Yes, a pick axe..it’s not even a shovel. So, we set off to the park, while I’m wondering how were gonna dig 19 holes with a pick axe. Hahahahaha. We got there and my Dad and I took turns at…I guess you call it… “picking” the ground. Hahaha. In about 15 minutes there were many shovels and pick axes and the kids in the neighborhood were helping digging the holes! I was pretty happy about that! While all the kids were digging the holes the volunteers and our family started to pick up trash.

Here are some pictures of some of the kids digging holes and me and my volunteers picking up trash…I also threw in some random pictures of a cool dog and some pigs.

There was a dead rat.

My loyal volunteer, Stacey, picked up the rat and put it in the bag…

This was a dog dressed for winter! I have a special way to describe my Eagle Scout project now! With hand motions! Hahaha. Last homeschool group my Mum was talking about my Eagle Project and how it sounds lame if you call it your stupid Eagle Project. So, me, Connor and a friend(Rachel!:D) made up cool motions to make my project sound awesome-er.

I’m sorry this was like a super long blog post! I’m hoping to go back to the site Monday and start to get things wrapped up. Honestly I’m pretty sick of this project! So, just pray that I can wrap up everything really soon and stop being a little Eaglet and move on with life.

If you have any questions about my project you can leave a comment or whatever. Oh, I'm also sorry about the pictures! You probably see the big white spaces between them...yeah I dont know what happened. This is my frst time putting pictures on my blog so I'm still getting the hang of it. Bear with me:)

Thank you everyone who has helped donate, volunteer, and support me in this quest to greatness. Quest to greatness…that sounds nifty. Coooool.

Special thanks to:
Stacey – for picking up the dead rat. We need more people like you in this world.

A super awesome EAGLE…
clayton high

busy as a bee...bzzzz

Yeahh….
So I’ve been pretty busy lately. I'm actually planning to start my Eagle Project tomorrow. Sometime in the future i'll give a detailed post about the whole Project. Anyways here's what I've been doing...

On monday I went to the site where i'm going to do my Eagle Project. It's a small community called Molar Bund. I'm planning to clean up a park there in the community. So, while I was there my Dad and I went to the park and soon a crowd gathered to stare at us...you know how that is...

As we walked around the park we were followed and some of the kids were asking my name and being really annoying. I was on the verge of just slapping one of them, but I controlled myelf. I began to wonder if that's what Jesus felt like:

STOP FOLLOWING ME GUYS! ITS GETTING REALLY ANNOYING

okay okay, i just wanted to see you preform a miracle.

LEAVE ME ALONE! hahaha.

Yeah, i guess it's sort of the same thing going on...except I don't have to preform miracles to be famous. I just have to be white. hahahahaha.

I'm glad Jesus can put up with us super sinful and sometimes very annoying human beings. :)

Comment if you care...

clayton high

it works...sorta

So, I got my computer back yesterday from the shop and it works!...sorta. I wouldn't know. haha.

Cheers,
clayton high

just another day

this is just a post describing my week of school and what's been going on. So, if your reading this and you have better things to do go ahead and do them...because this entry isn't like a HAVE TO READ sorta thing like all of the others. It might be. I don't really know.

so like on wednesday i'm doing my school. And I have to write these poems for my class. ANd i have to send in 7 at the of the week. So i wrote some poems. But, don't expect me to post any casue they're pretty lame. I wrote a poem about my US History teacher, but it's mean. I'm guessing if I send it in i'll get a poor grade...hahahha, so I won't. Anyways, yeah, that day went as normal. Went to boyscouts after school. Pretty boring. When I got back I played some cards with Martha and Lindsay of course. Than I ate this wonderful pancake they made! It was delicious. haha. Thursday went as expected too, except near the end where computer totally just died. It had already been having issues up to this point, but this was like it. it was finished. My computer is a lemon. Before this my computer has been getting the blue screen of DEATH! Where my computer just suddenly turns blue and stops working. Yeah. Anyways, when my computer just died I lost all my work. Like, a math test I had saved on my computer and ALL THOSE POEMS! GAHHHH!! super annoying. So, today I had to go down to Dell Service Center place and give them my laptop so they can see if they can get it fixed. I was really mad, at my computer, and because todays school was ruined because I had to go help my lame computer. So lemon. After i dropped my computer off I bought a shirt...so that was pretty good. Then I went back home. So tonight i've been chilling and working on some school that I lost on my computer. So, yeah. That's it.

simply chill,

clayton high

Friurday

Friurday...yes. Friday and Saturday combined.

So, I guess some people have been waiting eagerly for my next blog post. yeah, I dont know.

Friurday sounds like frier day. haha. That would be cool if friday and saturday was like some super cool holiday where all the fryers in the whole world fried stuff. yeah, I dont know. I guess the holiday would get annoying though. Every week friers fried stuff. Wow.
Anyways, happy halloween people. Let's go dress up like demons. That's great guys. Real Christian. hahaha, jokes. I dont hate halloween or anything. It's fine. I didn't celebrate or anything today though. If I did celebrate though I was going to be a green ninja. LIKE REALLY! hahahaha. yeah.

Anyways, this is it.

So on Friday there was homeschool group day. Before I continue I want to define "homeschool group" because I do not think all my readers know what that means.

The definiton of homeschool group:
Designed for parents so that they can send their kids to a place where all homeschoolers can congregate and socialize in a safe enviroment because most homeschoolers are very shy, eccentric, and do not get to socialize with kids their age very much.

Basically homeschool group was made so homecshooler could socialize more.
I mean really, it's weird. And Connor, I and this super small Australian dude(his name is Josh) are in charge. So... it's pretty funny. hahaha. Anyways, Friday was like fitness day or whatever. Where we did tests on the kids to see how many pushups they could do, etc. So, yeah, I was too lazy to participate. Haha, it was great. At the end we had a mile run which I ran in a bit but then dropped out. Connor ran the whole mile in jeans so that was pretty funny. He had the fastest time as well. 5 something. yeah. haha. so yes, continuing. After we had homeschool group Mandy, Daniel, Connor and I watched This Is It: Michael Jackson. The movie was VERY good. It was pretty funny too. After the movie we got all the music from Mandy. At the movie I saw the trailer for 2012 and it looks very good. I love those kind of movies where the whole planet is destroyed and stuff. So, yeah, I can't wait to watch it.

On Saturday I got some coffee beans and then went to Ultimate Frisbee. I gave the beans to mandy so she could grind them and get them back to me. Ultimate was lots of fun. I didn't do anything super super cool but it was still awesome. hahaha. Afterwards we went to a friend's house. Her name is MATTI. yeah. She had made a cake for us and she said it was purple but it wasn't...it was brown. I guess she's color blind or something. I dont know. ahhahaa. Then we watched Charlie Brown and the Pumkpin Patch. After that we played this silly game then went back home. Yep... I just thought you guys would be interested in my Friurday. hahahahaa.

All
Love
Lonestar

did you know?

Did you know that everyone gets my name wrong? They're like oh...this guy's name is Clayton, let's call him his brother's name just to get him ticked. whhhy? Why i tell you?
random person: hey connor!
me: MY NAME ISN'T CONNOR!
random person: oh, haha must have gotten your name wrong..yeah...well you see, you and connor look just alike.
me: WE DO NOT!
random person: are you guys twins?
me: what are you talking about man? i have long hair..my brother has short hair..how can you get us confused? Connor wears shorts(very inaprop i must say) and I wear jeans.

Yep...
that's how it goes. even my mum will do it.
mum: hey connor, it's time to go to bed.
me: GAHHH! it's CLAYTON I TELL YOU! CLAY-TONNEE!! AUUGGHGHH. WHY IS IT SO HARD? there's only two of us...I SWEAARR!!

That's not all...
At my Church I am the powerpoint guy. I do the slides for the songs and for the sermon...and the pastor will say slide when he wants me to press the button...
Today I was at church and the pastor was doing the sermon and all and he said "slide Connor". It's just super awkword when he does it. And it's the second time he's done it...anyways, the pastor was continuing to say Connor until he realized his mistake and said Clayton for the rest of the slides. I imagine people at the Church were confused...
"Duhh, wait...i thought the power point dude's name was Connor...duhhhh."
yeah, anyways, after Church was over I was thinking about walking up to the pastor(his name is Karl by the way) and being like, "Hey pastor Joey, my name's Clayton not Connor. CLAYTON."
man, that would've been funny. hahahahaa.
so yes, i have delima I believe...i think there's only two ways to solve it
1) just deal with it...fine, call me connor...what's the difference..same thing..might as well not be called Clayton at all...ya know? might as well be connor...or I could be clayton...just pronounced Connor. haha...
2) Wear a name tag...and when i say name tag I dont mean a normal one. I was thinking about maybe a huge piece of cardboard on a string..i can put it around my neck. And it bright yellow letters i'll put... CLAYTON
maybe that will help. I'm not sure.

Fully and Completely, Clayton

First Blog Entry

I just made my first blog. This is epic. This is amazing. I'm not sure how I feel about this. I made this blog while I was sitting at a table. Some friends encouraged me to make a blog(sorta) so I did.
Today I went to boyscouts. Martha and Lindsay(my fellow green ninja - she ROCKSSSS) wanted to see me in my uniform। But I thought they said Unicorn. So i was all like Unicorn? I LOVE UNICORNS! soo yeah. it was pretty awesome. Anyways, I went to boyscouts and I talked about my eagle project. It was a pretty boring meeting, but that's okay. I was fine becuase I texted people when I was in Scouts, so all is okay.
