Soooo...i've been having a great time in America. We took a flight from London to Dallas. It was a really long flight. Ten stinkin' hours. So, that was quite a pain. The ipod I had on the trip was really lame, so it ran out of battery in like 3 hours. I was like, "Ahhhhhh!!! What do I do now??!?!?!?" So, I laid around and watched the tv screen. It was sad though, because we didn't get our own personal tv sets. Like the ones that are attached to the chair in front of you. That was disappointing, but they showed some alright things. There was Invictus playing, but I did not feel like watching it. They also played this other movie that I watched and it was super LAME. It was soooo stupid. Hahaha. They had the office though, so I was happy with that. :D It was a nice flight though. We had seat number 10, so plenty of leg room. We got in to the airport and my Aunt picked us up. We went to their house and saw our cousins and stuff...I was very tired though. To keep us awake we went and ate snocones at like 10:00. That was fun. It's been like 2 years since I've had one of those. Nice break.
The very next day we went and bought Connor's car. It's pretty cool. It's like a tan car with a spoiler and a sun roof. I like it. I haven't gotten a chance to drive it yet, because just recently we have figured out that our permits have not expired yet. So, I'll probably drive some tomorrow or the next day. I'm going to get my license soon though. My Mum is making me read all of these funny books about driving and stuff. I think I have to read it to get my license.
Later we moved to our house in Arlington. That's where I am now. It's a guest house where we ALWAYS stay when we come to America. We live so close to cool attractions. Five minutes from Six Flags, five minutes from the baseball stadium, and five minutes away from the football stadium that has just been recently built here! We live five minutes away (walking) from the public library, so that's handy. We also live just minutes away from the Church and Youth places. Pretty great place to be. In the house there's this super cool TV, but we don't have any cable. Hahahaha. Sad. It really is sad since the world cup has been going on. GO GERMANY!!!!!!!!!
Today we went to a Mac store to get my new computer. If you've been reading my blog you probably know that I've had some pretty bad computer problems in the last two years. It's been so annoying with school and everything, so I was super excited when we drove to buy my Mac. I got a MacBook Pro 13". It's super cool. I've been installing important things like Word and Skype. I also got an ipod Nano FREE with my Mac purchase. It's super COOL! I can't wait to get my music figured out so I can listen to my ipod. Right now I'm listening to my radio. It's a pretty nifty ipod. It has cool stuff!
So, I've had a good time in America. It's been fun. :)
Cheers,
